Caterina Raffa D. M. D.
Specialist in Pediatric Dentistry
Dr. Caterina Raffa is originally from Italy, moved to NY at
a young age and grew up in Brooklyn, NY.
She attended Hofstra University and graduated with a Bachelor’s
degree. Dr. Raffa then went on to
receive her dental hygiene degree at SUNY Farmingdale where she received the
Dr. Philip Silverstein Award for outstanding scholastic achievement.
She then moved to Boston to pursue her dental degree at
Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.
While at Tufts she received the distinct honor of being inducted into
the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society and was awarded the 2003 Certificate of
Merit for Outstanding promise in the field of pediatric dentistry. Dr. Raffa graduated Summa Cum Laude and
continued her post doctorate education at Boston University School of Dental
Medicine for the specialty of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Raffa has always had a great appreciation for the
sciences and community. She currently serves on the Executive Board for the
Massachusetts Academy for Pediatric Dentistry as well as holding the Vice Chair
position for the Middlesex District Massachusetts Dental Society.
maintains her professional memberships with the American Dental Association,
American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Massachusetts Dental Society and the
Massachusetts Association of Pediatric Dentists. Dr. Raffa also holds hospital priveleges at
Franciscan Hopstital for Children. She is
dedicated to the oral health of children from infancy to young adulthood. Dr. Raffa’s goal is to make every child’s
dental experience a happy one while providing the most comprehensive care for
her patients. Dr. Raffa loves spending
time with her husband and children Alex, Gabriella and Luca.
